Have you noticed that the field of Futures Studies is buzzing lately? Even though it's a relatively young discipline, it’s quickly gaining interest and attracting enthusiasts from around the globe, diversifying approaches and objectives. As we navigate through unprecedented challenges and opportunities, understanding and anticipating future developments has never been more crucial.

I am a futures studies enthusiast with broad experience in futures research, communication, and managing international projects and collaborations. My interest began with my undergraduate thesis, deepened during my doctoral research, and continues to flourish. Diving into futures studies often transforms how we see what's possible. The idea of plural futures, for instance, which has been part of the discipline of Futures Studies from the late 60s, is not just fascinating but also empowering, and offers a new lens through which we can envision and shape our tomorrow.

I decided to launch Futures Digest because of my daily engagement with leading futures networks and organizations around the globe. In my roles as Director of Communication for The Millennium Project, Co-Chair of its Italy node, Communication Officer for the Foresight Europe Network, and scientific consultant for various bodies, I engage with a diverse range of global futures initiatives and cutting-edge research. No time to stop learning and dreaming!
